Excellent 40-60 Maynard “1873” Style Cartridge Wide Thick Rim Soldered Head

This is a Model “1873” style 40-60 Maynard sporting cartridge with the large pie pan-shaped thick rim that shot .423 diameter bullets and was suitable for large game species.  This collector marked example is empty and remains in excellent condition with some verdigris around the top of the case.  A scarce original Maynard cartridge.
