Vintage Atchison Leather Products (A.L.P CO.) RH Brown Holster

The Berger Company was founded in 1908 as the Atchison Leather Products Company in a manufacturing warehouse that stood against the banks of the Missouri River in Atchison, Kansas. The first leather products produced were team harnesses, bridles, halters, horse collars and a variety of leather cut parts. During WWI/WWII, the company produced 1911 pistol holsters, knife sheaths and strap-work for the US government. This holster is marked "A.L.P. CO." and marked 246 32A. Overall Length 7", Opening at top 3.25". The stitching is in very good condition with one inch separated at the top. This holster was built for a small framed 32 automatic like a Savage 1907 or Colt 1903.
