British No. 5 Mk. 1 Jungle Carbine by Fazakerly 303

Serial #R5809, .303 British, 20 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 9/46-dated carbine that has retained 95-97% of the original black Suncorite finish, with some flaking to the underlying blue along a few of the high edges, and on the matching numbered bolt. The carbine is liberally marked with Birmingham commercial proofs, applied after the carbine was released for public sale. The walnut forend, buttstock and handguard have minor handling marks and small blemishes, but are otherwise in fine shape with crisp markings and some minor flaking of the varnish here and there. The padded buttplate is in excellent shape, and the included magazine has a commensurate amount of Suncorite remaining. This is a great looking Jungle Carbine that is in excellent overall condition.
