New Condition Original US Model 1898 Krag Bolt by Springfield Armory

This is a splendid New condition Krag bolt that has most of the original armory bright finish remaining on the body and handle and some smudges of dried grease here and there. The extractor retains much of the original bright fire blue finish with thin freckling along its length, while the shroud and cocking-piece retain a commensurate amount of the original blue with some thin silvering along the high edges and projections. The safety retains bright original color case-hardening as well. This is a great original Springfield-made Krag bolt.
