Original Model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor Front Sight Hood
Original Model 1883, 1873, 1884 Springfield Trapdoor Carbine and Rifle Front Sight Hoods, as were provided to the troops on a special request basis from their officers. This is missing the locking screw. There is some very light surface oxidation.
