Pre-WW2 Winchester Model 1897 Take-Down Pump 12 Gauge 1941 C&R

Serial #921300, 12 Gauge (2 ¾” Chamber), 32 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore choked full.  This is the Winchester model 1897 slide action shotgun manufactured in 1941.  In excellent condition the barrel and frame retain about 90-95% of the original blue finish with some light scratches around the takedown areas and on the receiver, most of the loss is on the magazine tube.  The walnut stock and forearm rate about excellent with some light surface level use marks in the finish and it wears the original Winchester butt plate.  Mechanically it functions properly with tight lock up and crisp trigger pull.  An excellent 1897 made just prior to our involvement in World War II.  FFL or C&R
