Rare Webley Naval Revolver Holster 1892 Dated

This is an original and rare NAVY 1892 dated holster which is correct for the 4" Barrel Webley Revolvers Like the Mk 1, 2, and 3. The naval holster is constructed of leather and brass and is easily recognized as they use Rivets instead of thread to fasten the holster. Stitching easily rots in a salt water environment, and the rivet construction makes for a longer lasting holster. Many of these were also used in WWI & II due to their long life. This holster is marked on the belt loop " C. & W. ALMOND / C&M / 1892 "Also marked, what I believe to be "25 10" on the inside flap. Original Vintage 1892 holster in excellent condition. All rivets present and solid, no tears and excellent patina on the hardware. The slightest of crazing of the leather along the fold flap, that has been wet, dried, and in the sun. The leather is pliable and flexible, with no areas of stiffness.  Flap closing strap is in excellent condition. This is one of the finest Webley holsters I have seen and will round out any collection.
