US Mark I Practice Grenade
This is a US Mark I practice grenade, one-piece hollow cast iron with holes at the top and base training hand grenade. The MK1 is a nonfunctioning type developed to help safely train soldiers in the early days. It was used for training in handling and throwing of the fragmentation hand grenade MK2. Overall condition is very good, shows some minor surface rust, marked "KOREA" and weighs 1lb 4oz.
