P.J. O’Hare U.S. Springfield Model 1903 Front Sight Protector

This is an original, cylindrical sheet brass protector for the US Model 1903 rifle. The metal has a mottled brass tarnish where the underlying metal is exposed, and the balance has acquired a pleasant gray-blue-black patina over time with a spot of verdigris. The swiveling outer cylinder slides smoothly, and the P.J. O’Hare markings are crisp and clear on the end cap.
