WWI 1903 Springfield Rifle/ M1918 BAR Carrying Case

WWI 1903 Springfield Rifle 47" Canvas & Leather Soft Rifle Case with Shoulder Sling. Great collectible you can use for display, storage or in the field. This is the earliest style of carry case for the Springfield 1903 rifle that features the leather top flap instead of all canvas. Canvas case with leather flap and an adjustable carry web shoulder strap as issued for the 1903 Springfield Rifle and the M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). Canvas with leather flap with buckle closure at open end, reinforced middle section, and with a plug toe at the reinforced muzzle end. Carry strap attached to "D" rings. This heavy-duty canvas case will work well with any rifle up to 47”. Original markings have faded and are no longer visible. This has normal wear with some ground-in dirt and stains, but there are no rips, cuts or tears that I can find. The leather flap is still supple with light cracks at the fold.
