Very Scarce Full Frankford Arsenal 45 Colt & Schofield Cartridges 1878 Date 10 Rds.

This is a full box, 10 original rounds, of .45 Caliber Benet Primed Revolver cartridges.  The internally primed cartridges were designed for the Colt 1873 and S&W Model 1875 Schofield revolvers.  The cartridges remain in excellent condition and the box label is excellent with crisp, clear type with the standard shellacked / lacquered coating on the exterior.  The box has seam separation on top two edges and along one side edge allowing a peek inside.  We are leaving this box as we received it and will let you decide if you want to repair or not.  A very good looking example of now very scarce ammunition that would look fantastic on display.
