WWI Issued Webley Mark VI Revolver Shaved 45 ACP 1916

Serial #227347, .45 ACP, 6 inch barrel with an excellent bore.  This is the Webley Mark VI British Service revolver dated 1916 with all of the appropriate British proofs, unit markings and Broad arrows.  The non-import marked WWI issued top break  shows much of a later applied blue finish with scattered light freckling and tiny surface pitting.  The grips are intact except for a chip on the bottom of the right one.  It has had the cylinder shaved to accept the .45 Auto Rim or 45 ACP with half moon clips, a common conversion, and comes a custom made brass and leather hammer block.  FFL or C&R
