Excellent Smith & Wesson Schofield Model of 2000 Performance Center

Serial #GWS0481, .45 S&W (Schofield), 7 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Smith & Wesson Performance center Schofield Model of 2000.  The modern top break is based upon the original 3rd model Schofield and incorporates modern features such as the hammer block safety with the serial number prefix “GWS” in honor of Col. George W. Schofield.  In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain virtually all, 98-99% of the original high polish blue with only a very slight turn ring.  The barrel latch, hammer and trigger & guard retain virtually all of the original vibrant case-hardened colors.  The walnut grips rate excellent with a nice crisp inspector marking.  It has a pinned half moon front sight marked “PERFORMANCE CENTER 2000”.  A beautiful limited edition modern Schofield built circa 2000.  FFL
