Antique Sheriff Lawman Restraint Leather Belt 1800s

This is a vintage adjustable leather restraint belt. This could be used by either law enforcement or hospital staff for retaining a person. This belt is made of heavy saddle leather that is 2 1/4" wide and 37" long with about 4" of adjustment. There are 9, 3/4" brass studs and 2 steel clasps. With two steel rings for attachment to the belt. There is about 10" of slide movement to the rings from all the way forward for a single handcuff anchor to the ability to use wrist restraints individually. The steel claps allow for quick on and off. I have not located one just like this interesting and versatile restraint belt.
