19th Century Infantry Waist Belt and Accoutrements

This is a dark brown, bridle leather belt with unmarked two-piece circular buckle, and adjustable tabs on both sides. There are no arsenal or maker's markings save for a faint "2" stamped into the interior on the back. The belt has a matching leather frog for a saber type bayonet, small cap pouch, and a cartridge box without insert. The leather is generally in very good shape, with crazing and some minor flaking at the flex points, as well as a partial tear at one of the size adjustment holes on the right side. Likewise, the closure tab for the cartridge box has detached, as has the tag end of the frog adjustment strap. The brass buckle and fittings have turned to a dark ochre patina, and the set rates very good condition overall.
