WW2 refurbished US M1 Garand Bayonet Shortened M1905 1920 dated

This is a shortened M1905 bayonets and was redesignated as the Bayonet M1. This example was originally made as a M1905 bayonet at Springfield Armory in 1920. It was shortened by the Union Fork & Hoe Co. of Columbus, Ohio. These bayonets are found with both a spear point or a beak point (as this example illustrates). The 10" blade blade is in excellence condition, marked S. A. flaming bomb 1920.  The reverse has U.S./1152228/U F H. The guard, handle and pommel are in excellence condition. This comes with a correct shortened M3 scabbard in very good+ condition. This is an excellence example to add to your collection. Please see photo's for fine detail.
