WWI British Pattern 1913 No. 3 Mk. I Bayonet

This is a WWI British Pattern 1913 No. 3 Mk. I Bayonet made in March of 1916 by the Remington arms Co. for the British Army. It is 21" overall, 17 3/8" unsharpened blade. The blade retains 50%+ of original bluing which is lightly mottled and has a slightly altered tip. The edge has one small nick near the tip. All the British proof marks are correct on one side of the ricasso while the other is marked with Remington, model and year. The guard shows signs of being welded at some point (see photos). The wooden handles are tight and is fine condition with the functioning pommel being stamped with "541". This bayonet is accompanied by the period correct No.2 Mk.1 double stitched scabbard. This scabbard is in excellent condition with only some soil aging with both the chap and locket in fine condition with excellent patina. Overall the combination is in very good condition.
