Czechoslovakian VZ–24 Bayonet & Scabbard CSZ

This is an original Czechoslovakian VZ–24 Bayonet with Scabbard. VZ–24 bayonets were made by Ceskoslovenská zbrojovka a.s., Brno. This example is typical of pre-War production. The press stud is slightly proud of the pommel marking it and early production. The sharpened 11 3/4" blade is marked CSZ over G, bland on the revers and no other markings. Mush of the finish is missing on all metal surfaces with heavy preservative coating. The wood handles are in good used condition with slight bumps and scrapes. The correct scabbard is marked CSZ on the frog stud and is void of its finish with light oxidation overall. Nice example of an early example.
