Excellent Late Production British No. 4 Mk. 2 Rifle by Fazakerly With Bayonet
Serial #A20458, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a "UF 55"-dated rifle with matching numbered bolt and magazine. The metal retains virtually all of the original Suncorite finish, with almost no flaking or loss save for some very minor fading along the bearing surfaces of the bolt. The birch forend, handguards and buttstock are in excellent condition with hardly any handling marks or blemishes present. The forend is numbered to the rifle, and a slightly tarnished brass buttplate is fitted. The rifle is fitted with an adjustable "F" and (Broad Arrow) marked rear sight, and import stamps are present near the muzzle. Also included is a 1954-dated, Enfield-made No. 9 Mk. 1 bayonet with metal scabbard. The bayonet and scabbard match the condition of the rifle. This is a splendid, post-Korean War No. 4 rifle and bayonet package, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
