German M98 Long Export Model Bayonet and Scabbard
This is a German M98 Long Export Model Bayonet with correct Scabbard, manufactured by Simson & Co. in Suhl. This unsharpened 384mm blued blade is in excellent condition with no markings, no nicks or chips with an excellent tip. The guard with a 15.5mm MRD and pommel are blued in very good condition with #H 7197 stamped into the pommel. The dark wooden scales show normal use. The scabbard is in very good original condition with some patches of worn finish from frog.
