WWII USN Mk2 Fighting Knife and Sheath Robeson Cutlery (RCC)

This is a WWII USN Mk2 Fighting Knife with Sheath manufactured by the Robeson Cutlery (RCC). This Mark 2 is about 12" / 30.5 cm overall; the blade is about 6-7/8" / 17.5 cm.  No dings on the spine or edge nicks the blade; the pommel is nice and tight with a small gap to the firs washer. The blade is field sharpened, the tip is intact, light overall oxidation. Stacked leather washes are tight with the guard loose. Original Navy-gray NORD composition scabbard by Beckwith Manufacturing Co. division of Victory Plastics (VP). Production numbers on the back indicate June 1944 delivery to US Navy. Original “navy-gray” finish; no dents or chips; the webbing and keeper are in good shape with no damage.
