M1950 Parachutist's Individual Weapons Case 9 Feb 51

This is a Korean war era M1950 Parachutist's Individual Weapons Case with a very early date 9, February 1951. The M1950 case was used by parachutists as a protective container for individual weapons. It was made from olive drab cotton duck and could be attached to a ring on the left side of the parachutist's harness via a quick release snap hook. The case was also supplied with a lowering line. This example is in excellent condition with tight stitching and great snaps and zipper. Exterior has light age soiling, no real stains and marked US. This is a fine example of a great case.
