WWII Combat Boots Swedish Made 1943 Sz 46

These are a pair of unissued brown leather combat boots made in the city Nordingra, Sweden by the boot maker Broderna Melinder. These boots are brown with 7" side and are fully gusseted and have a leather interior as is common on heritage period boots. They have 8 eyelets with slight verdigris and a finger loop on the back. These boots are marked on the sole and the tongue with the boots size of 46 or 12-13 US size. They have a double layer, double stitched toe with tight stitching all around. The side of the boot is marked 43 for the year of production. The leather sole shows no signs of use and is marked 46 and a 27 in a circle. The sole is stitched, pegged and nailed with a steel toe plate and steel heal plate along with the makers mark. Also a small museum tag 2669. There is the slightest separation of the leather stacked heals which should be expected from age drying. These boots could be cleaned, conditioned and worn as new.
