Original U.S. WWII 1911 .45 Holster by Sears 1942
This is a very nice totally original M1916 holster, made by Sears Saddlery Co. of Davenport, Iowa, in very good+ condition. It is marked SEARS / 1942 on the back, and embossed U S in an oval on the flap, indicating that this was a military issue holster. The hardware has verdigris but all seems solid. The leather has a nice patina on the brown leather, is solid and supple with nice stitching. This comes with a period web belt that looks to have been exposed to sea water and has verdigris on the hardware.
