Restored Fox Sterlingworth 12 GA Ivory Beads 1926 C&R Philadelphia

Serial #108954, 12 Gauge (2 ½” chambers), 28 inch barrels with bright, near excellent bores show a very few isolated spots of surface roughness near the muzzle choked improved modified and full.  This is the Fox Sterlingworth side by side shotgun manufactured in Philadelphia in 1926 sporting front and mid-rib ivory beads.  In excellent condition as restored the barrels show about 85-90% of the re-blued finish.  The frame shows vibrant case-hardened colors fading along edges and carry points.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are both solid with scattered light use marks.  The LOP is 13 ¾” over an Ithaca branded rubber butt pad.  The barrels are on face with a tight lock up having the lever resting in the center.  A beautiful looking Fox Sterlingworth that would be a pleasure to take upland bird hunting.  FFL or C&R
