Swiss Model 1931 Schmidt-Rubin Short Rifle 7.5mm

Serial #848729, 7.5mm Swiss, 25 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle that has matching numbers on the receiver, barrel, bolt, and magazine. The metal retains 92-95% of the original blue finish that has gray fading and silvering on some of the high edges and projections. The bolt has a bright gray patina, and some further gray wear along the handle extension on the right side. The stock and handguard have numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes in the original military oil finish, including some shallow bruises on the wrist, mainly on the right side. This is a fine example of a desirable Schmidt-Rubin model. FFL or C&R
