WW1 Era US Model 1912 Pistol Belt and Model 1916 Holster

This is a tan canvas belt with blackened bronze fittings and large stenciled "US" on the exterior. The belt is in fine shape with only a small amount of staining, and a few broken threads around one of the keeper grommets. The interior of the belt has a large, illegible inkstamp; possibly a maker's mark, or owner's name. Attached to the belt is a dark brown leather Model 1916 holster for the Model 1911 .45 caliber pistol. The holster has scuffs along the leading and trailing edges, as well as crazing and flaking along the flex points of the "US" embossed cover flap. The back of the holster is maker marked and dated: "PERKINS / CAMPBELL / 1917". This is a very good-fine piece of WW1 US militaria, and rates very good-fine overall.
