Very Nice Korean War Era Canadian No. 4 Mk. I* Rifle by Long Branch
Serial #91L6871, .303 British, 25" barrel with a very good bore that has some minor freckling within the grooves. This is a 1950-dated rifle that has a Mk. III sheetmetal rear sight, and retains 90-95% of the original blue finish, with some silvering and gray fading at the muzzle and other high edges and projections. The matching number bolt has streaks of gray metal along the body, and some small spots of dark freckling on the handle. The walnut forend, handguard, and buttstock have numerous minor handling marks and surface blemishes in the military oil finish. The rifle comes with a single unmarked magazine, and has an import mark on the underside of the barrel at the muzzle. This is a great looking Korean War No. 4, and is in fine condition overall.
