Royal Military College of Canada Cadet's Tunic

This is a tailored scarlet cashmere and black flannel tunic (approximately size 36) with embroidered bullion borders on the stand collar, shoulder loops, and cuff chevrons (maker marked "SCOTT UNIFORMS" and "C.M.R. St. Jean" inside the interior pocket). The cloth is in excellent shape both inside and out and has a fine white quilted interior lining but is missing all of the buttons. R.M.C./Saint-Jean (Quebec) is tasked with providing a preparatory curriculum and training experience for students entering the Royal Military College of Canada and forms an integral part of Canada's military education system. This is a splendid and high quality uniform tunic whose fabric is in excellent condition but does need some buttons to be complete.
