WW2 Canadian Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. I* Rifle by Long Branch With Bayonet
Serial #27L6437, .303 British, 25" barrel with a fine bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This is a 1943-dated rifle that retains about 60-70% of a mixed blue and Suncorite finish with large areas of gray metal visible throughout, as well as some mild surface freckling on the receiver and magazine. A milled adjustable rear sight is fitted, and an import stamp is present on the barrel at the muzzle. The walnut stock and furniture are in very good condition, with numerous handling marks and blemishes scattered throughout, including a small rack or inventory number on the left side of the buttstock: "150". A single magazine is included, as is a non-matching Mk. 2 bayonet and scabbard that are in excellent condition. This is a great looking WW2 No. 4 rifle, and rates very good plus condition overall.
