WWII Australian P10085 Jungle Boots with Brass "Jungle Cleats" 1945
This is a great unissued pair of hard to find Australian "Pattern 10085" Leather service boots, complete with rare brass "Jungle Cleats." These were designed for use in the Pacific theater, where many of the areas occupied by Japan had tropical climates, and a firm foothold was very important. These are in excellent unused condition with firm leather and tight stitching, excellent soles. The boot is marked S310 on the inside of the foot with W/|\ on the outside. The soles are marked 6/5 1945 with a broad arrow. The individual cleats are marked Left and Right. These boots are approximately 11" long. Interesting fact, one eyelet was missed in production. These are replacement laces, the originals were made of leather.
