WWII US Union Fork & Hoe (UFH) M1 Garand Bayonet and Scabbard

This is an original M1905 bayonet that was shortened to 9 7/8" from 16" and was manufactured in 1942 by Union Fork & Hoe. The blades ricasso is marked with the flaming bomb and on the reverse marked U.F.H, US 1942 with a some of the original finish, no nicks on the edge but sings of use. The guard side is marked 841 and the handle spine marked "AFH 841" The grips are in very good condition, ending in a functional pommel. This is a not as often seen variant of the shortened blade having a back point instead of a center point. This comes with an excellent condition correct M7 painted scabbard.
