WWII USN Mk2 Fighting Knife with Sheath Camillus Cutlery N.Y.

This is a WWII USN Mk2 Fighting Knife manufactured by the Camillus Cutlery N.Y. with Sheath. This Mark 2 is about 12? / 30.5 cm overall; the blade is about 7? / 17.5 cm.  A few fine dings on the edge, clean spine, slight nicks on the tip of the blade; the pommel is nice and tight with no gap to the first washer. The blade is field sharpened, the tip is intact, light overall oxidation. Stacked leather washes are tight with the guard tight. Original Navy-gray NORD composition scabbard by Beckwith Manufacturing Co. division of Victory Plastics (VP). NORD Production numbers 6581 on the back indicate June 1944 delivery to US Navy. Original “navy-gray” finish; no dents or chips; the webbing and keeper are in good shape with no damage.
