Chinese Type 56 SKS Carbine With Fiberglass Stock Set

Serial #3221312, 7.62 x 39mm, 20" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ca. 1958-made, "26 (in triangle)" factory marked carbine that has retains 92-95% of the original blue finish. There is silvering at the muzzle, as well as along the high edges and projections. The numbers are mixed, and there is a US importer's mark on the right side of the barrel. The stock and handguard are the military ruddy-brown fiberglass types developed for the tropical conditions of the Vietnam War, and are in fine shape with only some minor handling marks and scuffs along the surface. The folding blade bayonet is in excellent condition, and the cleaning rod is still present, although the stock compartment is empty. This is an excellent Chinese-built SKS, and is equipped with a desirable Vietnam War era stock set. FFL or C&R
