WWI British Marked Binoculars French Made w/ Broad Arrow Mark

These MG (Ministere de la Guerre) binoculars are made of brass, with a leather grip around the main body with an extending brass sleeve over the ends of the lenses helps reduce glare and reflection. British War Ministry Broad Arrow Mark indicate these were bought in service for the British Forces . On the Binoculars the Broad Arrow Mark can be found on one of the focus tubes and on the other is engraved MK V SPECIAL 19982. Overall in very good shape with clear optics that focus sharp. There is a small chip on the inside of one piece glass but is not visible in the viewing area. The right eyepiece has been over tightened at one time. These binoculars come with a period, non-matching case. Nice to find a pair with this age that still retains the leather covering in tact.
