WWI British Pattern Remington 1913 Bayonet

This is a WWI British Pattern 1913 No. 3 Mk. I Bayonet made in March of 1917 by the Remington arms Co. for the British Army. It is 21" overall, 16" sharpened blade. The blade retains 80%+ of the bluing which is lightly mottled and nick free. All the British proof marks are correct on one side of the ricasso while the other is marked with Remington, model and year. The guard retains almost all of the original finish with signs of light oxidation. The wooden handles are tight and is fine condition with the functioning tab on the pommel. This bayonet is accompanied by the period correct RE stamped double stitched scabbard.
