Identified Confederate Civil War Bullet Lot 7 Ct Enfield Marshall Lynchburg Ordnance Shiloh
This is a lot of 7 total dug bullets several with provenance and all from known Southern Confederate origins. They are from a large collection that followed A Handbook of Civil War Bullets & Cartridges by Thomas and Thomas. Included is 138c - .54 Cal 3 groove bullet of southern manufacture, #145 - .577 Cal Enfield, #147b - .577 Cal Enfield, #148a - .577 Cal Marshall Enfield made in Marshall, Texas, #167 - .58 Cal Rifle Musket “Spillman” pattern from Lynchburg Ordnance Depot, #168 - .58 Cal Rifle Musket side cast with cone cavity with provenance from Shiloh, TN, and an un-numbered Enfield Pritchett with provenance stating a CS camp in Virginia.
