Civil War US M1858 Corrugated Canteen/Hadden, Porter & Booth
This is an excellent condition Civil War, US M1858 Corrugated Canteen made by the Philadelphia firm of Hadden, Porter & Booth as marked on the throat. First contract for them was in 1862. This canteen is in excellent original condition with only light surface oxidation, original cap and cork stopper with original twister cord in place. There appears to be no splits in the seams with all three loops solid and ready for duty. The sides are nearly dent free.
