Identified Civil War Bullet Lot 8 Count Sharps – Richmond & Variants
This is a lot of 8 total Sharps bullets dug and some unfired. They are from a large collection that followed A Handbook of Civil War Bullets & Cartridges by Thomas and Thomas. Included are two #111 - .52 Cal Sharps early Richmond undersize examples, two #112 - .52 Cal Richmond Laboratory carbine bullets, two #113 - .52 Cal Sharps “new model” carbine, one plain showing the mark where the sprue was removed and the second with the linen and nitrated paper still attached without powder, and two #114 - .52 Cal Sharps “new model” machine pressed bullets with cavities. All come in collector tubes and are identified with the number from the book. Photo of book is shown but not included for sale but are readily available online.
