USGI WWII M1 Carbine Slide Type II Narrow Arm Joint Marked “J”
This is a WWII USGI M1 Carbine slide, type II with the narrow arm joint. The part is marked “J” which may indicate either a wartime production by Saginaw or a post-war rework. The slide shows signs of wear some minor finish loss. There is also a break in the metal just above the slide stop that does not seem to impact the functioning.
