WWII lanyard for the US .45 Auto Hickok 1943

This is an original WWII Hickok pistol lanyard measures 39"ish in overall length with a OD/brown twisted cord and leather end with keeper. This would appear to be NOS with no signs of use. This strap would attach to the Lanyard ring on the back of the 1911 Auto Colt Pistol then worn over the shoulder making it much easier to retain and never drop the firearm. Can be used on a variety of side arms.
