Korean War Era US M1 Helmet w/ Clergy Cross and Name

This is an excellent condition used Rear Seam Swivel Bail M1 Motor Wheel Corporation marked MW A29 Helmet with a Westinghouse Micarta Liner. The helmets front has the remnants of the clergy cross painted in white and painted over with green. This helmet would appear to have been used in theater with some scuffs and dings, produced some time between 1951 and 54. Also has the correct original chin strap and swivels. Inside the helmet there is the name of "George Simon" written in paint. Hard to get a firm # on how many were made by Motor Wheel Co. during the war. The Westinghouse Micarta made liner is marked 1951 and has the correct harness and leather sweat band. Inside the lip, it is marked with two names, one can not be made out the other is "Clifton Perish" #13639295. The outside of the liner has been painted green with 4 red triangles painted on the top. Very nice Korean war helmet with history.
