Vintage Japanese Police Dress Sword/Scabbard
This is a vintage 32 3/4" Japanese Police Dress Sword with scabbard. The 27 5/8" unsharpened blade is in excellent condition with very little signs of use, nice tip, 17 1/2" fuller and no apparent makers marks. The brass guard, knucklebow and quillon have a very traditional Blossom motif. The wooden handle is in good condition with some of the wire wrapping missing. The black painted scabbard was once chromed and shows light signs of oxidation under the paint but is free of any real dents or scratches.
