WW2 Japanese Type 99 Gas Mask
This mask has a tan rubberized cloth face covering with round eye-piece lenses that have become dark and discolored over time, and short security straps that wrap around the back. The rubberized cloth is still intact and has stiffened with age with a stenciled “177” in fading ink on the forehead area. The mask comes with an original metal filter canister that has a nearly intact paper label. This is a desirable piece of IJA WW2 memorabilia and is in very good-near fine condition overall.
