WWI U.S M1907 Leather Rifle Sling Harvey Wheeler 1917
This is an original WWI leather rifle sling. This sling is stamped " Harvey Wheeler" with a date I can not read underneath. From what I can gather they made slings in 1917 for RIA. This sling is in very good condition, mild surface wear with signs of natural aging, pliable leather. No splitting on the slings adjustment holes but has some verdigris, mostly on the brass hardware. The stitching throughout the sling is completely intact and original. This example has two keeper. Please see photo's for fine detail
