WWI US M1917 Bolo Knife & Scabbard Fayette R. Plumb Co. 1918
This is a US WWI Model 1917 Bolo Knife & Scabbard. The knife was manufactured by the Fayette R. Plumb Co., St. Louis, MO, in 1918. In very fine condition the blade has been sharpened and cleaned with marking still visible but weak. The wood grip remains excellent. The scabbard is in near excellent condition and is marked “AK – CO. / 1918 / R.H.S.” and has solid stitching with some very mild age stains.
