WWII British Dispatch Rider Boots 1943

These are and excellent pair British Dispatch Rider 1943 Dated boots. This pattern of boot was designed to be worn on motorcycle dispatch missions and has 6 special wear studs used when starting a motorcycle, the studs have been removed on this pair. They are made from a black leather which has a pebbled finish. The front of the boots fasten with laces which are missing whilst the top closes with a leather section which features three belts and buckles each. The eye-loops have a trace of verdigris. The soles appear to be original and are marked with the Broad Arrow 11L, the leather soles are in good to very good condition with some wear and small cracks. The marked WD /|\ 74, boot leather is still fairly supple and in excellent condition with tiny cracks, no tears and inside the boots are clearly marked "Simpson 1943". Great opportunity to grab a pair of historical military boots in a popular size.
