WWII British Enfield No. 2 Mk 1 Revolver Built by Albion Motors 38/200 1943
Serial #D1907, .38/200, 5 inch barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1943 dated, double-action only Enfield pattern No. 2 Mk 1 revolver manufactured by Albion Motors with all matching numbers on the frame, cylinder and barrel having the appropriate commercial Birmingham and original military proofs which are crisp and clear. The dark gray phosphate War time finish shows areas of silvering along the high edges and covers some surface roughness on the left side plate. The grooved composite grips are in very good – fine shape with some small handling marks and blemishes. The lock up is tight with proper timing. This is a fine-near excellent example of a war-dated, non-import marked Albion built Enfield revolver. FFL or C&R
