WWII German Youth Belt with Nickel Silver Buckle by F.W. Assmann & Sohne

This is a very good early example constructed in polished nickel silver, the obverse with a standard HJ motif consisting of an eagle in the center perched atop a HJ diamond that is surrounded by a serrated circular border with an inner and outer rope, and the HJ motto German - Blood and Honor. The buckle show some wear with scratches and is clearly marked on the back with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Sohne. Slight surface oxidation to the steel closure catch. The excellence leather belt is marked 85 with initials B.F. and remains supple, light crazing of the leather.
