WWII US Military M38 Rawlings Tanker Helmet

This is an original WWII US M38 Tanker helmet made by Rawlings, in size 7 1/8, marked 76072,PATENT NO'S 130.878 / 2.282.830. The helmet is in near excellent condition with very light surface scuffs on the green exterior, green leather has light wrinkles, tight stitching throughout. Excellent interior leather and crisp, clear markings, shows very little signs of use. There is one, out of ten, snaps missing on the right ear flap, will not impact the function. This comes complete with the rigid ear protection tabs which are often missing or broken.
